He emerged in a leading and sovereign role in Syria and the Arab region. His boldness in criticism and proposition provoked widespread controversy, which did not prevent him from criticizing taboos, the first of which is religion. He was awarded many prizes in Europe for the role he took and his call to separate religion from the state and for women to gain their rights. This sparked widespread controversy in the Arab world.
His opinion and criticism were clear, as he said:
The Arab culture teaches lies and hypocrisy with regard to the political system that establishes a culture linked to it, and employs concerned persons for it.
This culture produces only what deviates from the truth, and it is a culture influenced by religion, which is not just a personal belief, but rather interferes with the internal personal affairs of the individual. The Arab culture is deeply affected by the religious vision of life. The religion that is practiced today is the source of problems and not the source of solutions.
We Arabs have to realize that we are part of the human societies that took basic steps and emerged from the Middle Ages and separated religion from the state, and gave the individual his freedom, independence and rights.
And the individual here is not only the man but also the woman, and the Arabs must follow this path and finally establish a civil society, and get out completely from the fact that the society promotes a religious culture and builds the human being and his freedom.
I am not against the religious belief of the individual, and it must be as the mystics lived and imagined it, just as love is an individual relationship between man and his Creator. New Kingdom of Atlantis (Land of Wisdom)

As for the real change, it is the change of an entire society, and we in Arab societies have never talked about changing society.
We always talked about changing power.
There is no basic question posed to revelation, regardless of the extent of our belief or lack thereof, but rather it is a rational question. For example, there is a fundamental question: How can we accept that a woman is not equal to a man as a man and submit to a myth that says that a woman was created from a man’s rib and that she remains subordinate to him.
There is no way for the Arab to think freely, and the basis of the lack of freedom lies in the political authority that invokes religion and religious feelings, as if religion is a bright tent that if it is blown on it collapses, so if the religion is strong, he should not be afraid of freedom.
As for the revolutions on the level of culture, they are superficial revolutions that are shortened by criticism, slander and insults. They live as a real change, like the Palestinian revolution: there is a people being annihilated in one way or another, but this revolution did not create art on its level.
Therefore, we must belong to the people’s politics and identity, and those who give the people’s identity are the creators in various fields. Therefore, the homeland is the homeland of the creators and creators, the art of numerals and numerals, in which freedom is given to the hands, and leads to creative creativity.
People like to walk the clear public road and we have to push them to build their own paths.
No limit poem
Derby wearing waves and mountains
For my face full of version
Thousands of candles extinguished eggs in the sky
I told my teeth for blue nails
Lenny with me and surrender to the waves and the roar
I told her to cut the ropes
Between me and the last beach
I have no end, no last beach.
